Dan gives the following assessment, “I wanted Wanderlost to have a dark, gritty, realistic feel and at the same time be able to summon emotion with every shot. We used a mixture of Leica and Zeiss primes and Canon zooms as well as a few odd damaged lenses and macros for special effect. Much of the story takes place at night and in dark places and we knew that properly representing the mood of these scenes was essential, so we lit everything very minimally and sourcy. The Cinevate Brevis was excellent in low light and was an invaluable tool.”</p>
